We are back! Yes, we are back from a well deserved holiday and ready to fly. Actually we had a very good time flying all around. We ‘ve done aerobatics, jet rides, and more generally some very nice flying in incredible sceneries such as in Utah and Arizona, as well as in France. We enrolled for a second time for a dogfight with our friends down in Bordeaux and again we had so much fun. This is truly an experience everyone should try. You get to fly a real aircraft, with a visor, a smoke system and once in the air, you simply to try to shoot down your opponent. If you aim right, then the smoke comes out of the aircraft, just like it would if it was gunned down. We had two fantastic days there, with briefings in the morning, flying in the afternoon. And of course on the last day, we went tasting the great wines of the area, the Medoc and St Emilion. Check it out there: air combat

We are happy to be back also there many changes in regulations in the USA, but also in Europe regarding jet fighter rides and we will have more on this in future posts. It seems the overall tendency is to secure even more the business of offering jet fighter rides, but also simple plane rides, and it is not looking good. It seems people want more regulation to secure the operations, which are already very secure, and would want to impose new standards which in effect, will push many companies and clubs out of business. And that’s a shame. We understand that regulations are necessary for security, but sometimes, too much regulation is just killing everyone’s fun. More on this later. Anyway, we are happy to be back.
