Fly the L39 Albatros in the Czech Republic. We have recently been invited by some friends to the Czech Republic and we have particularly enjoyed their spirit about aviation. This is the birth place of the world famous L39 Albatros, a jet fighter/trainer known for its robust engine and easy to fly capabilities. The L39 has been in service with the Czech Air Force for such a long time, training so many pilots. This truly is a great plane. The Czech Jet Team –OK Jet organizes jet fighter rides on the L39 Albatros as well as the L29.

They operate from Plzen, west of Prague. Your pilots will greet you and then you will change in the flying suit. Once you are geared up, the pilot will discuss safety onboard, communications, and flight plan. The area is quite nice, with a mix of forests, fields and hills. This makes it a nice location to experience a jet ride. The chief pilot and instructor Vladimir Kvarda will put you at ease so that you can truly enjoy your flight. He has been notably the technical director for the James Bond movie “Tomorrow Never Dies”. James escapes from a mountain top flying a L39 Albatros. So you are in good hands.

Check out their website if you are around and want to fly with them (http://www.czechjetteam.com). They are a nice bunch and committed to deliver a great flying experience.
